Category: Obamacare -- Bad for America

Hello My Potential Constituents; (It's Up to You In May and November!)

I received an email that spooked me because it might be true.  It might not be true either.  Snopes a very liberal site has not made a declaration on the matter which means it may very well be true.

However, I cannot find it at Investor's Business Daily. Only they and your hair-dresser probably know for sure

Right or wrong, it captures the fear that many of us have of turing our fate tot he god clalled government from the God called Jesus Christ or for some just God.

US Healthcare Is the Best! Period!

When has the government been the best provider of anything. How many people do you know with knee and hip replacements.  How about treatment for cancer? How many go untreated?  How about diabetes.  Physicans are checking sugar levels all the time and they are nipping this in the bud ahead of time for those who get checkups.

There is a lot to this healthcare thing but the government's proposal is to make the government the king of healthcare and we know who is looking to be the king of the government.

So, let's say this email is right, then what?

Subject:  Interesting Data on Health Care
To: My Dear Cousin

This article is from the "Investor's Business Daily."  It provides some very interesting statistics from a survey by the United Nations International Health Organization.

Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis:
U.S.               65%
England       46%
Canada        42%

Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment within six months:
U.S.             93%
England       15%
Canada        43%

Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months:
U.S.               90%
England       15%
Canada        43%

Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month:
U.S.               77%
England       40%
Canada        43%

Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people:
U.S.               71
England       14
Canada        18

Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in "excellent health":
U.S.             12%
England       2%
Canada        6%

I don't know about you, but I don't want "Universal Healthcare" comparable to England or Canada .

Moreover, it was Sen. Harry Reid who said, "Elderly Americans must learn to accept the inconveniences of old age."    WELL, SHIP HIS ASS TO CANADA OR ENGLAND !

end of email!

Harry does have a lot to say about a lot that he should say nothing about. But, should we trust him with doing what is right for our health?
