 Yes, I Am Pro-Baby!

I  support protection of the unborn. I am father to three wonderful grown-up babies and I would not trade any of them for the whole world.  A baby is a heart melter even more than butter on black pavement on a hot day.

I have been challenged on my pro-baby stance and that is why I decided to change the words from pro-life to pro-baby. I want the little guy who is forming his or her life in the womb to be the focus of the argument of whether he or she lives or dies.

Yes, I am pro-mom. Moms do not feel good about themselves when they kill their children.

My mother was as nice to me as any mom to any child, and I love her for it. My wife was as wonderful to our children in the womb, out of the womb, and on through life as any woman could possibly have ever been. I love her intensely, and her care for our little ones was an eye-opener for me. As much as I loved my wife to ask her to marry me, her selfless caring for our children was just wonderful. She was a professional with a degree, but the three little ones were more important to her than anything else. That's probably how most moms feel when they make the big decision to have a baby.

Sure, some people get caught in the middle of their lives with unwanted pregnancies.  Some would suggest that because I love babies that I do not support the individual liberty of a potential mom to decide.  I would never want to decide who lives or dies under any circumstances.  But, if somebody wanted to kill the mom, I would fight it with the same strength that I fight the idea that babies in the womb cannot be killed.

Having a baby is a tough road for a family but especially a mom.  But, nothing in life worth having is easy.  Moms go through the arduous process of a nine month pregnancy,  the trauma of birth, and then the first two years.  Wow! It is tough but nothing in life worth having is easy.

Having a child is an intrinsic, not unimportant part, of your life.  If there were not another living being involved in whether the baby lives or dies, I would agree there was a denial of liberty and the mom should decide the baby's fate (but only if the baby were not a baby!) .  But, the baby is a baby -- in or out of the womb -- and this being is unbelievably dependent and helpless.  Just because it is helpless does not mean the child should be terminated.  So,  I am pro-baby and pro-mom.  I want both to live.

I am convinced that the individual human beings -- the smallest Americans -- our mom-womb babies, whose liberties are most vulnerable are the unborn. We must agree to protect them and their right to be born and to live. No human has the right to take another human's life, regardless of how fragile or in need of care the other human may be.  I am pro-baby and pro-mom.

I certainly support a woman's right and freedom to choose whatever they want in life. I would submit that the decision to abort a human, causing its death is not something a man or a woman has a right to choose under God.  Death is murder in this case. Are women, men, and babies in and out of the womb equal? How can they not be?  Is not the womb of a dog or a cat sacred until it produces its offspring. Even then, the puppies are sacred. Who thinks killing puppies or kittens is a good thing.? How much more sacred is a child in the womb, especially when the conclusion is that it is a human, especially with the same DNA as member of the family?

The choices humans make, both women and men, with regard to humans cannot include the termination of the life of another human. God has not given any of us that right. In this case, an unborn baby, the dead person would be an about-to-be newborn whose soul was just placed in the womb by God.

Ron Paul has become one of my favorites.  He ran for President in 2008.  Most young people noticed, but unfortunately for me, I did not.  I have since noticed.  He is a good man.  Look at this picture below.

Ron Paul, while in Congress went home on weekends and delivered babies on Fridays and Satrudays.  He is a champion of liberty, and if I may be so bold, that is your liberty as well as the liberty of little babies.  Look at this campaign picture from 2008. Who would be so bold?

I am 62 years old and not many things affect me in the same way they did when I was younger.  Ron Paul is older than me but he offers the best thought I have heard in ages. My brain still is young in thinking about life but sometimes my knees cannot keep up.  When I saw this picture (below) the melting of my heart began.

In this picture a surgeon who has a procedure to correct spina bifida in the womb felt an unusual sensation on his finger.  It was unexpected as the surgeon is in control of all activity, Think of the first thing, if you are a mom or dad, that really got you after birth.  How about that little man or little lady grasping your finger with the intensity of Hercules after that birth canal journey.

I was pro-baby and pro-mom before I saw this picture below but after feeling three grips on my own finger -- three grips that all became wonderful human beings -- my three children, now in their twenties, wow, that little grip in the picture did it. This is not Photoshop stuff.

Some of my family thought my words were enough to set it up so I did not have to show the picture because it is very bloody as it is surgery.  The picture did it for me and that is why I show it. It is not to revel in a bloody scene but to rejoice that through this all, surgeons recover babies in the womb so they can live normal lives. Why somebody might destroy one of these little guys, who most often are created with no abnormalities, who are ready to reach up at a moment's opportunity to grab the finger of another being with their teenie hand, is an enigma of our times.  I think that perhaps it is because they may never have seen a picture enabling life, such as the one below.

Now, think about a surgeon who develops a technique so that a child is not crippled as it would otherwise be with spina bifida. He is an expert who saves lives and makes potentially unsaved lives much better.  He does the procedure time in and time out.  Delicate as it is, this surgeon's hand is unimpeded and he gets the job done.  Then, one day out of nowhere, something changes the norm.  That something is an unborn bundle of flesh that was being readjusted (probably cut a bit). Out of the birth sack, the "thing" being operated on that everybody expects after the operation to be a normal baby, sticks "its" real little hand out of the goo and he or she grabs the a finger of the surgeon's.  I can't help but show you that picture.  The hand is so teenie that you might miss it if you don't look hard enough.

For this baby, surgery is not the end... It is the beginning.  This surrgery is not an abortion. This baby is not a mistake.  Soon he or she will be calling for their share of mashed potatoes at the table.  We, as humans, must permit that.

Love yourself, love your baby, and one day your baby will make you so glad that you chose the light. *** Picture ***

During the negotiations between President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Bart Stupak, the hopeful but fake defender of the pro-life cause, pro-life Americans were encouraged that we would not be called upon by the Obamacare bill to pay for abortions.

Bart Stupak duped us all.  Washington Times reporter Kerry Picket on March 21 wrote the following:

"Whatever Mr. Stupak thinks his principles may be, pro-life advocates are not buying it. Mr. Stupak will always be known as a self-proclaimed pro-lifer who stabbed the life movement in the back."  Congressman Mike Pence showed the sham of Bart Stupak without the "Wow."  GOP Congressman Mike Pence blasted his colleague:  "You traded 30 years of pro-life law for a promise from the most pro-abortion president in history."

When elected, my job will be to replace Obamacare with a real reform bill that is not a takeover of individual rights, and it will protect the rights of the unborn.  Do not vote for any individual who does not wear the shield of the pro-baby movement at all times.

Life is real.  Babies are real. Moms are real.  Moms who give babies their opportunity for a real life have served God really well.  Thank you moms!
